Meta is bringing Facebook profiles professional features that were previously only available on Facebook Pages.
Users can now make money using features that were previously only available on Facebook Pages thanks to the new professional mode for Facebook profiles.
Facebook Pages will also get new features that were previously only available through Facebook Business Suite & third-party apps.
More information about all of Facebook's updates for businesses and professionals can be found here.
In the United States, a new professional mode for Facebook profiles includes revenue-generating opportunities and data on content performance.
The Reels Play bonus program is the first monetization option available with Facebook's Professional Mode.
This allows eligible production companies to earn money based on the number of times their reels are viewed.
The programme is currently only available by invitation, but interested users can sign up to be notified when it becomes more widely available.
Along with the ability to profit from reels shared on Facebook, the structure is getting a slew of new features, including:
- Select multiple clips to make a video.
- Save a reel as a draught so you can finish it later after you've reached the halfway point of your build.
- 60-second reel with an extended duration of 60 seconds
Next year, Facebook plans to increase Reels to more countries.
Professional Mode transforms a Facebook profile into a Page.
When this mode is enabled, anyone in your feed can follow and view your public content without sending you friend requests.
You do, however, retain control over who sees the content in specific posts.
With each post you create, you can also choose whether it is visible to the public or only to your friends.
It is currently being tested in the United States with a limited number of profiles, with plans to expand to more users soon.
In the coming months, Business Mode will be expanded to include more countries, as well as new tools and monetization options.
Facebook Pages will receive a professional dashboard, which will serve as a central location for administrators to review Page performance & access tools and insights.
In limited testing, some admins will notice a new unit at the top of their Page's feed that displays a snapshot of post engagement and follower count.
The new unit could also demonstrate how to create high-performing content.
Finally, Facebook is testing a new post composer for Pages that includes a number of creator-focused features.
The ability to schedule posts, that was exclusively available through Facebook Business Suite, will be tested first.
With this update, admins can now schedule posts regardless of their current workflow or the tool or app they are using.
Professional Mode enables users to monetize their accounts without the need for dedicated Pages.
.5 Ways to Improve the Professionalism of Your Facebook Profile
Blocking or banning someone from your Facebook Page prevents them from interacting with it. Because your Page is public, they can still see updates if they search for you.
.If you don't want a personal Facebook profile, you can create a business account, which is designed specifically for people who want to manage advertisements and pages without having a personal profile. Personal profiles have limited access to business profiles and cannot communicate with them unless they use a page.
.Every business page must be linked to a personal Facebook profile, but all information—posts, comments, photos, updates, and so on—is kept separate. Unless you manually share information between pages, the information on your personal profile will not appear on your business page and vice versa.
.List any Fan Pages or Business Pages that you manage on your personal profile.
"Pages You Manage" should be added.
Your profile picture and cover photo will be transferred to the Page, and the name on your profile will become the Page's name. You can choose from your friends, followers, and pending friend requests to add as followers to your new Page.
.PAGE FEATURES
The answer is a matter of personal preference. Pages only impress when they are rich in content and fan base. A page with only a few fans and no engagement can be detrimental to your personal brand. Profiles also make it easier to gain reach and engagement.
.You can set up a new Facebook page without informing your current Facebook friends. To create a Facebook page, only a verified email address or mobile number is required. As a result, you can create a new email address for your new brand and launch a new Facebook page. This new page will not receive any nitfication from your friends.
.The Newsfeed, where the user sees contents from his Facebook friends and pages he follows; Messenger for messaging; Timeline, where it shows the user's information and content posted or shared; the Wall, a space for the user's content; and Events are the main features of Facebook.
.The Featured section of your profile allows you to highlight photos and stories to help people get to know you better. When selecting your Featured photos and stories, you can create a collection by combining multiple photos and stories.
